Emirates and Dubai Tourism have announced that the mega Dubai trade incentive will take place again in 2013. The action packed famil which was held earlier this year was so successful that next year, another 280 travel agents from Australia and New Zealand will visit Dubai.
Plans for the ‘bigger and better’ 2013 Emirates mega famil to Dubai will see the top selling agents visit Dubai for five days between 15th and 20th May 2013.
“Following the incredible success of our mega famil to Dubai in May this year, we felt it was important to build on this activity in 2013 and offer our trade partners the chance to experience even more of our hub-city first hand,” said Barry Brown, Emirates Vice President Australasia.
“Emirates places a large emphasis on offering best-in-class inflight products and services to meet the needs of wide range of travellers; from luxury breaks to business travellers, families and backpackers. This diversity has also come to be reflected in the travel experiences available in Dubai, and today it is truly a destination where there is something for everyone – whether you are staying on a two day stopover, one week holiday or spending longer in the region.”
“We look forward to working with our partners in Dubai Tourism to showcase the city and its surrounds and continuing to promote Dubai as both an end destination and stopover for all passengers travelling from Australia to any one of the 127 destinations on Emirates’ global network,” Mr Brown continued.
“We are very excited about the plans for next year’s mega famil to Dubai and delighted to be partnering with Emirates again on this initiative,” said Julie King, Director of the DTCM Australia and New Zealand Representative Office.
“Based on the wonderful feedback received from participating agents, many new additions will be included in next year’s programme including an extension to a five night stay in Dubai. This will give agents a taste of the variety and depth of the city’s offering and help to show them the extent of attractions that visitors to Dubai can enjoy.”
“The programme has also been enhanced so that agents can enjoy a fun and interactive experience in Dubai. There will also be ‘discovery’ challenges and an opportunity for agents to explore Dubai on their own and help broaden their understanding of the diverse city,” added King.
More details on the incentive will be announced soon.
