Pacific World, the Leading DMC in Asia, has appointed Hervé Joseph-Antoine as its Global Managing Director, one of two key appointments announced to support the company’s strategic plans for growth and innovation.
The Australia/New Zealand market continues to be of prime focus for Pacific World Asia and they are committed to servicing this clientele with their major investment through the sales and marketing activities of DMS Destination Marketing Services representation and their participation in the DMS Annual Workshops and AIME in February 2013. In order to seal the faith further, Pacific World Asia has assigned key Account Managers for each Country, dedicated to service our market.
Based in Singapore, Herve will be responsible for developing the overall global strategy of Pacific World, including developing the sales model, expanding the product offering and driving the geographical expansion of the company. The focus will continue to be on delivering excellence in service to customers and creating unique experiences that are value for money.
Hervé holds French and Indian citizenship. Prior to joining Pacific World, Hervé was Vice President Meetings & Events EMEA for Carlson Wagonlit Travel which he led to market leadership since he took the role in 2008. Hervé has a track record of delivering growth through sales initiatives and product innovation. He has been in the travel industry for 17 years and brings with him a wealth of valuable experience and knowledge.

Selina Helen Grocott joined Pacific World on 3 October 2012 as Regional Director Singapore and Malaysia. Selina is a member of the Pacific World Management Board and will be the senior leader within our Australian/New Zealand market, working closely alongside DMS Destination Marketing Services to ensure
Pacific World Asia delivers its promise on service and creativity.
Selina, an Australian national, has been in the events industry for twelve years and has worked in London with most of her career spent in event operations. In her most recent position, she was Senior Director, Europe Middle East and Africa within the Carlson Wagonlit Meetings and Events organisation, where she managed a portfolio of clients as well as led international sales and marketing activities.
Hervé and Selina along with the rest of the Pacific World Asia management team from Greater China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam will be at IMEX in Las Vegas 9-11 October 2012, on Stand Number 1645 to meet and update Australian/New Zealand buyers on what is new and happening in Asia and within Pacific World.
