It might not be as far as the North Pole, but BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday in Airlie Beach will welcome you like family and they have heaps of fun workshops and activities organized to keep the kids fully occupied over Christmas and the summer holidays.
Last year’s very popular Santa Workshops return from 17-21 December providing a chance for the kids to make traditional home made Christmas presents. With Mrs. Claus and her helpers, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the range of tasty treats and creative gifts your kids will bring home each day. Check in for a few days R&R pre-Christmas, bring the extended family and share the chores for a stress-free Christmas day.
Airlie Beach is the perfect destination to play, stay and celebrate the festive season with family and friends and at Adventure Whitsunday Resort everyone can have their own cabins, your kids will have heaps of playmates and all you have to do is unwind after a busy year. Enjoy Christmas Eve carols by the pool, an outdoor NYE family disco and the famous pancake recovery breakfast on NY day. Kids Club, the massive lagoon swimming pool and over 30 daily activities will keep everyone out of your hair!
From 7-11 January an exciting new program of ‘Let’s Dance’ workshops begin for children four to 12 years. Morning and afternoon sessions will be held with two age groups run at consecutive times. Classes will be fun and interactive and each day will cover a different dance style. This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to develop their creative skills, meet new friends and pick up some groovy new dance moves. Dance teachers and a DJ will ensure the kids have an absolute blast! The workshops are free of charge but numbers are limited so bookings are essential.
Resort owner Naomi McKinnon says, “our January school workshops are hugely popular and return guests now look forward to these every year. We have had the Junior Master Chef classes, Glee Club workshops and this January we think the dance workshops will be absolutely fantastic. For kids who don’t want organized classes, there are still heaps of things to do around the resort, and plenty of new friends to be made.”BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday, winner of the 2011 Queensland Tourism Award, is a special kind of holiday destination and will delight you on every level.
