The Peppers Gourmet Food Trail reached the Tropical North Queensland haven of Palm Cove over the weekend where guests were treated to a five course degustation dinner by Executive Chef Vanessa Grace, matched with wines by special guest host, Nick Stock, Gourmet Traveller WINE magazine critic and co-author of SMH/The Age Good Wine Guide.
The menu showcased a range of regional produce including Pork Belly with Gangarra rainforest honey glaze and a delicious Daintree Estate Chocolate mousse and lemon myrtle meringue.
The poolside venue catered for over 90 guests with balmy warm weather to match! Next stop for the Peppers Gourmet Food Trail is the Southern Highlands for a combined dining extravaganza with Peppers Manor House and Peppers Craigieburn this weekend (17-18 August) then on to Peppers Coral Coast Resort in Airlie Beach where guests will be treated to a taste of the Whitsundays at the ‘Eat Love Cook’ event on 14-15 September.
