Etihad Airways has upgraded its online booking services with the introduction of Managed Booking, a service allowing travellers to specific meals, seat location and personal information.
Unveiled this week the “enhanced” service allows customers to amend existing booking information including; dates and class, add itineraries to Microsoft Outlook calendar and use the Web Check-in from 24 hours to two hours before the flight.
Etihad chief commercial officer Peter Baumgartner said the system invites travellers to better “engage” with the airline “at anytime of the day”.
“We aim to provide an integrated, full-service website which customers find easy to use and which fits in with their lifestyle,” the airline said.“These latest enhancements give an indication of what innovations we will continue to roll-out over the coming months.”
