A personal home exchange to Washington DC with his kids in 1991 opened his eyes to the many opportunities of this rewarding way to travel and he started his own little club. It planted the seed of what has grown to become the largest and most respected home exchange network in the world. The website is in 16 languages, plus HomeExchangeGold.com which offers exclusive, luxury homes for exchange worldwide. With over 60,000 exchanges achieved in 2011, HomeExchange.com is positively regarded as a frugal, safe, cultural and environmentally sustainable way to travel.
