Sabre Pacific is extending a friend request to the travel industry, with the launch of a brand new Facebook page today.
CEO of Sabre Pacific, Gai Tyrrell, says Sabre has embraced social media to create an open dialogue with agents and provide them with an efficient platform to receive up-to-the-minute news from the travel industry.
"We’ll be focusing on building relationships with agents, making sure they understand our vision and providing them with all the information they need to get the job done. It’s important that agents feel we are partners in this together," says Tyrrell.
"Agents will be able to access exclusive industry commentary, product news and training tips via our Facebook page. Of course, we’ll also have plenty of competitions, an exclusive behind the scenes look at the filming of Empowered plus other fun stuff for everyone to get involved with."
Tyrrell says Sabre Pacific always welcomes interaction from Sabre customers and the wider industry and social media is another channel for us to engage with our partners.
A blog will also be released in the weeks following the Facebook launch.
