It’s always sunny at Travel Counsellors, but March was an especially “Sun Loving” month at TC, which saw its 90 Travel Counsellor agents split into teams with Sunlover inspired names, such as Uluru Guru’s, Whitsunday Warriors, and the Tassie Devils.
Sunlover’s Business Development Manager Hannah Tabak was a regular visitor to Travel Counsellors Head Office to appear live on TCTV with updates and training on Sunlover product on TC’s Thursday for Training throughout the month of March, and appeared on today’s show to announce the winning team.
“I am just so overwhelmed at the way the TC’s and the head office staff have embraced the incentive and really got behind supporting our product, it’s been a lot of fun and I can’t wait to host the winning team on a luxury “Amazing Race” style trip to the Red Centre” comments Hannah.
Teams took a virtual trip around Australia as part of the incentive, collecting travel miles by booking Sunlover product and answering questions related to Sunlover’s brochures. The teams were supported by their Head Office Mascots, with a lot of friendly banter constantly going around the office over whose team was going to win.
Travel Counsellors Business Development Manager Tracy Parkinson was responsible for keeping score, and worked closely with Sunlover and Voyages to put together an amazing competition that not only helped increase sales, but also build bonds between TC’s both new and old as they worked together to get their team across Australia to the finish line.
Winning Team Captain, TC Heidi Winkley from team Kimberley Kids was surprised with the news as TCTV crossed live to congratulate her on her team’s win. “Heidi really embraced being team captain and sent motivational messages and pictures to her team every day of the competition, she was an amazing captain, and is a well deserved winner” comments Tracy Parkinson.
Winning Team Mascot, Matt Cox from Travel Counsellors head office struggled to contain his composure while behind the camera filming the live announcement. “It’s been so much fun, and I have got to know so much about the TC’s that were in my team, the rewards have been far more than just winning a trip to the Red Centre, although I absolutely can’t wait to celebrate with my team!”
The winning team of 8 Travel Counsellors will be enjoying their exclusive trip to the Red Centre in June.
Travel Counsellors head office arrange regular team incentives throughout the calendar year, to help boost camaraderie among the TC’s as well as build product knowledge and sales.
