Mercure Hunter Valley Gardens has always been a favourite destination for conferences, but the resort is set to become even more popular thanks to its launch of new virtual tour facilities that will allow event organisers to fully inspect the property without leaving their desk.
The move is part of the resort’s continuous efforts to improve services for guests and provide a seamless conference and meetings experience. With professionally shot video footage featuring television host Scott McCrae, the virtual tour allows viewers to see all areas of the hotel in event mode and to carry out an inspection on their computer, with a direct link to a bookings and enquiries form and the guarantee of a response within 24 hours.
To celebrate the launch of this new facility, the Mercure Hunter Valley Gardens Resort is offering a special full day conference package that includes morning and afternoon tea, a gourmet buffet lunch, all-day snack bar and conference centre internet for just $64 per delegate.
“We recognize that event organisers are busier than ever, so we wanted to give them full access to the resort without the need for them to travel to the Hunter Valley to inspect it themselves,” said General Manager Paul O’Rourke. “Not only can viewers see full video footage of rooms but they can also access floor plans, photographs, menus, and event theming and click through for an immediate quote on their event, all in a few easy steps.”
Mercure Hunter Valley Gardens is the first hotel in the area to utilize this technology to give event organisers complete peace of mind. Importantly, the Mercure also boasts carbon neutral conferencing, with the resort offsetting the cost of your event so that the natural environment of the Hunter can be protected.
With its relaxed atmosphere, extensive facilities and beautiful grounds, the Mercure provides a range of meeting rooms and spaces to cater for events for up to 250 delegates. The Mercure is famous for its excellent food and beverage options which showcase the best local produce and provides a huge range of activities either onsite or within walking distance so that delegates can enjoy a full conference experience without having to travel too far from the doorstep.
Leisure facilities onsite include a games room, outdoor pool, tennis courts, a library and a dayspa, while the hotel is arguably the best positioned in the whole Hunter Valley – just footsteps from McGuigan’s Winery which can offer exclusive dinners or wine appreciation courses and the Hunter Valley Cheese factory. Also just metres away is Pokolbin Village with a range of boutiques, restaurants and attractions and the famous Hunter Valley Gardens is a stroll away, providing stunning outdoor settings for memorable dinners or themed gardens for daytime events.
